Music Theory
This course will offer students the fundamentals of music theory and aural skills. We will learn how music is constructed, beginning with basic musical notation, vocabulary, scales and chords. We will also explore the relationship between major and minor keys. Students will learn how music is composed through melody, harmony, and chord progressions. All skills will be built upon weekly throughout the course of the first two quarters.
